
Tania Llasera is bilingüal at a native level in both English and Spanish, not out of her own merit but because her dear mother is a Londoner. Attending an American School in Bilbao(A.S.B.), also helped, and after passing all her A-levels and O-levels she packed and left Spain for England in search of her roots. It was in the U.K. that she studied Fine Art, Design & Media as well as a BA(hons) in Moving Image and Video Production at Portsmouth University. Working in various independent production companies in London and different television channels in the UK for years, it was in 2005 when she decided to fly back to Spain and live in Madrid, working for a good two years in Europroducciones TV.
In 2007 Llasera started her career in front of the cameras in a new music channel called FLY MUSIC(2007-2009). At the same time, she two-timed working as a reporter for another music programme in the public state television(TVE-La2) in ‘No disparen al pianista!’, interviewing many different artists such as: Lenny Kravitz, Paulina Rubio, Wilco, Avril Lavigne, Juliette Lewis, Metallica and a long etc. Tania also covered the ‘Rock in Río’ music festival in 2009.
In October 2011, she had the honor of presenting Coldplay’s new album ‘Mylo Xyloto’. Tania translated the words of the members of the music band in their international press conference in Spain, and along the same lines, she also presented One Direction’s album: ‘Take me home’.
Tania Llasera worked for channel Cuatroº in ‘Estas no son las noticias’ as an international reporter for red carpet events, as well as in channel LaSexta in the political humorous tv programme “El intermedio”. At around the same time she presented “Fama…y ¡a bailar” a daily dancing contest on live on Cuatroº again.
Being fluent in both tongues she naturally presents events and premieres with international talents. For Sony Pictures, for example, she has presented many films including different VIPS such as Forest Whitaker, Dennis Quaid, Patrick Depsey, Emma Stone, Marc Webb, James Garfield, Sara Jessica Parker, Robert de Niro and Al Pacino. Llasera also conducts award ceremonies such as the ‘Fun & Fearless Females Cosmopolitan Awards’ 3 consecutive years running(2010, 2011 and 2012).
Tania worked in morning radio for a year, having a weekly collaboration on spicy sexy subjects and was invited to write a book about it last year. ‘El sexo sentido’ (Espasa) – (The sex sense) is the fruit of many months of research and resulted in a very personal and funny book about sexuality.
Llasera works exclusively for Mediaset for 3 years, she has worked presenting live debate programmes of ‘Dancing with the stars’( Mira quién Mira!’) our blond has also worked in matters of the heart in the week end live show: ‘Vuélveme Loca!’ and she has hosted TV Reality post-debates live after ‘Survivors’, ‘Big Brother’, ‘ I am a celebrity get me out of here!’ (Resistiré ¿vale?) with an average share of 30%. The latest programme that Tania Llasera has worked on is ‘The Voice’ (‘La Voz’) co-presenting with Jesus Vazquez, which was the biggest success in the last 10 years when it comes to audiences and social media.
